Alaknanda Rao is an Ayurvedic physician (BAMS) and has worked as an Ayurvedic consultant for the past 30 years. Panini Ayurveda clinic started off as a small city-based clinic in Pune (India), in 1992 and has now grown to a well-established clinic in Amstelveen in which Rao works to serve clients from all over the Netherlands and other countries in Europe. She gives consultations for various health issues and specialises in chronic diseases, autoimmune diseases, Ayurvedic gynaecology, pregnancy care, postnatal care, paediatrics and Ayurvedic dietetics. She also gives workshops and teaches Ayurveda at various renowned institutes.
Visie
I grew up with Ayurveda learned through the culture and rituals. Later I studied the science and philosophy of Ayurveda at Pune University to get the degree of Ayurvedacharya. I want to bring the genuine knowledge of Ayurveda to modern society and use it in the most practical way. Making Ayurveda adaptable, accessible and affordable is my goal.

Alaknanda Rao has more than 30 years of clinical experience working with Ayurveda. She has worked in urban and rural India for 12 years and later she has worked in many European countries. She has more than 15 years of work experience in the Netherlands.
She works with young and old men and women. She has long experience with preventive and treatment part of Ayurveda, Burnout, Fibromyalgia, Autoimmune diseases, joint problems, cancer support, women's issues, baby and child care. She is teaching various subjects of Ayurveda for more than 20 years.

Coming from India and now living and working in the Netherlands. Completed Ayurveda degree from Pune University. Later did post-graduation in Ayurvedic dietetics.
Has worked for various hospitals, rural health projects in India. Has written articles in newspapers, magazines to popularize Ayurveda. Has attended and read research papers at International Ayurveda conferences.
Worked in many European countries. Taught many workshops and seminars on various clinical and non-clinical subjects in Ayurveda.
